Customization happens over a 2-week period and follows this process:
STEP 02
The Customization Phase
COMPLETE OUR INTAKE FORM
After purchase, you’ll receive our Getting Started guide that contains a form to select your template and give us some immediate information
COMPLETE YOUR WORKBOOK
You’ll get a welcome email with your template workbook where you can write your website copy and provide your branding
TEMPLATE CUSTOMIZATION
We’ll keep the template in our Squarespace Circle account and work on customizing it as you complete the tabs in your workbook
REVISION ROUND
Once customization is complete, you will have five days to go through the website to make adjustments to your colors, fonts and copy
Customization projects are asynchronous. We’ll communicate via email and inside the Google doc workbook. No Zoom calls required.
STEP 03
Receive Your Website, Publish and Launch
Your template will be kept in our Squarespace Circle account through customization. When your project is done, we’ll transfer the template to your Squarespace account. This will start your 3-month trial so you can launch when you’re ready using the Resource Library. You’ll also get 30 days of email support for questions.
Note: Once your template has been transferred to your account, we will no longer have access to it.

Your Project in Three Steps

STEP 01 // CHOOSE YOUR TEMPLATE
Choose one of our premium Squarespace templates as the starting point for your website. Each template comes with everything you’ll need to launch a full website for your business. You can finalize your selection during project intake.

STEP 02 // BOOK YOUR CUSTOMIZATION PROJECT
Select and purchase the level of customization you want for your website. We offer partial customization to get your website started or full customization so you can launch immediately. Customization projects take around two weeks to complete and come with a comprehensive workbook so you can write your copy and gather your brand assets.
03
STEP 03 // RECEIVE, PUBLISH AND LAUNCH
Once your customization project is complete, we’ll transfer your template to your Squarespace account. From there, you can use our Resource Library to connect your domain and publish your website. Your template will come with an extended 3-month Squarespace trial so you can take your time and launch when you’re ready. You’ll also get 10% off your first annual subscription (doesn’t apply to monthly plans).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

During customization, the following can be changed:
The color palette
Heading and body fonts
Logo, submark and favicon
All imagery (you can supply the imagery and/or we will source from royalty-free sites)
Page copy
Once the template is complete and turned over to you, you are free to make any changes to the layout or any other part.

Whether you’re buying the template to DIY or choosing customization, the process is the same:
We’ll send you a contributor invite from Squarespace
Accept this invitation to put the template into your account (if you don’t have one, it will prompt you to start one)
We’ll then transfer ownership and the template will be yours

Your template will be transferred as a new website on a 3-month trial. When you're ready, you can disconnect your domain from your current website and cancel that plan and then connect it to the new website and subscribe with 10% off your first year.

No. Your template workbook covers both of these things to help you gather all your assets for customization. During the customization process, we can offer feedback on your copy if requested.
If you don't have a logo, we'll create a simple text logo as a placeholder.

Yes, our templates use some basic CSS in order to enhance the functionality. This code is already integrated into the template. You’ll find a video about this code in the tutorial library.

Template sales are final. No refunds will be offered.
Full payment for customization is due at booking. This is due to the short duration of these projects. We have a strict no refund policy. Refunds will not be considered regardless of the timing of delivery.
