The Customization Process

Decide on which of our premium templates you want to use for your website. Your choice will be finalized at onboarding so you have time to be sure before we start.

The workbook is built in a Google doc for easy sharing. Work through the tabs to gather your branding and to write copy for each of the included pages. You should dedicate a week or so for this part - it will take the longest.

The template will remain in our Squarespace Circle account through customization. We’ll work alongside you as you go through the workbook. Once we have all of your assets, this should take just a few days.

Once customization is complete, you will get five days to go through the included pages to make any adjustments to your colors, fonts and copy. Your template will remain password protected in our Circle account.

When your project is complete, we’ll transfer the template to your Squarespace account. This will start your 3-month trial so you can launch when you’re ready.

Once you have the template, you can connect your domain and subscribe when you’re ready. You’ll get 30 days of email support for questions.

Template delivery is not instant. You will receive your contributor invitation within 48 hours of purchase to accept the template into your account. If you don't have a Squarespace account, you will be prompted to create one.

Once the template is complete and turned over to you, you are free to make any changes to the layout or any other part.

Whether you’re buying the template to DIY or choosing customization, the process is the same:
We’ll send you a contributor invite from Squarespace
Accept this invitation to put the template into your account (if you don’t have one, it will prompt you to start one)
We’ll then transfer ownership and the template will be yours

Your template will be transferred as a new website on a 3-month trial. When you're ready, you can disconnect your domain from your current website and cancel that plan and then connect it to the new website and subscribe with 10% off your first year.

No. Your template workbook covers both of these things to help you gather all your assets for customization. During the customization process, we can offer feedback on your copy if requested.
If you don't have a logo, we'll create a simple text logo as a placeholder.

Yes, our templates use some basic CSS in order to enhance the functionality. This code is already integrated into the template. You’ll find a video about this code in the tutorial library.

Template sales are final. No refunds will be offered.
Full payment for customization is due at booking. This is due to the short duration of these projects. We have a strict no refund policy. Refunds will not be considered regardless of the timing of delivery.
